• Dutiable Goods Storage: Defer Customs Duty and VAT payments for specific consignments or the entirety of your cargo while it remains in South Africa.
• Transit Cargo: Simplify international logistics by deferring Customs charges until the cargo reaches its final destination.

Types of Customs Storage Warehouses

Our bonded facilities adhere to the highest standards outlined under the Customs and Excise Act, 1964:

• Storage Warehouse: Licensed under Section 19, these facilities store dutiable imported goods for home use or processing.
• Storage Warehouse (CCA Enterprise): Located within Special Economic Zones approved by the Minister of Trade and Industry, offering designated Customs-controlled areas.
• Special Storage Warehouse: Licensed for storing dutiable imported goods, duty-free export goods, and imported items for duty-free shops, including second-hand motor vehicles for export.

Note: For SOS warehouses handling second-hand vehicles, a Police Clearance Certificate must be provided with the application or upon importation and entry to the approved warehouse.
